04 Nov 09 LEON Barnett has today joined Coca-Cola Championship rivals Coventry City on emergency loan until January 31. The Baggies have the right to recall the centre-half, who celebrates his 24th birthday later this month, after 28 days. Barnett has been restricted to just two substitute appearances in the league this term after slipping further down the Hawthorns pecking order behind Jonas Olsson, Abdoulaye Meite, Shelton Martis and summer signing Gonzalo Jara. He heads to the Ricoh Arena on a positive note after keeping a clean-sheet and scoring in Albion reserves' 10-0 thrashing of Burton Albion on Monday.
