23-2-10: Middlesbrough youngster Gary Martin has joined Hungarian outfit Ujpest on loan until the end of the season. Martin, a 19-year-old striker, is a graduate of the famed Boro academy, but is yet to make his first-team debut. The Darlington-born marksman, a regular scorer for Boro's second-string, will now taste senior action for the first time with Ujpest. The Hungarian season is due to start this week following a winter break and Martin is expected to remain at Ujpest until its conclusion. It is reported that Martin was recommended to Ujpest coach Willie McStay by Boro boss Gordon Strachan, with the pair having worked together at Celtic.
