19-3-10: Lincoln City have taken Norwich youngster David Stephens on loan for the remainder of the season.
A product of the Canaries' youth academy, the 18-year-old defender is currently in his first year as a professional at Carrow Road.
He made his first-team debut back in September when he stepped off the bench during a Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Gillingham.
That appearance remains his only first-team showing this term, but he has had 10 outings for Norwich's reserves.
The move to Sincil Bank is designed to give Stephens a taste of regular first-team football, which will hopefully be handed to him by Imps boss Chris Sutton.
6-7-10: Hibernian have announced the signing of Norwich defender David Stephens
Stephens has signed a three-year deal at Easter Road after Hibs agreed an undisclosed fee for the the Wales Under 19 international.
The 18-year-old made just one first-team appearance for Norwich and spent three months on loan at Lincoln last season.
"I am really pleased to have agreed a move to Hibernian; it is an ambitious club with top-class training facilities and a first class stadium," Stephens told the club's official website.
"I'm still learning my trade at the moment, but Hibernian has a track record of promoting young players into the first team and this was a great attraction for me.
"I'm confident that when I do get an opportunity I will seize my chance. I'm excited to be here and especially so given that the opening Europa League match is only a few weeks away.
"It is a big move for me and I've been really impressed with the Club and with Edinburgh; it seems like a great place to live and I just want to achieve all my goals at Hibernian."
