24-11-10: West Bromwich Albion striker Roman Bednar is joining Leicester City on loan until 3rd January. "He's going to Leicester until January 3rd, with a recall after 28 days," confirmed WBA boss Roberto Di Matteo. "I've noticed his frustrations. With strikers it is all about confidence and goals and, hopefully, he will play and score goals and we'll review the situation when the loan is over. "Leicester are signing some players to try to boost the team and are investing in the club. You would expect to see Leicester winning some games and that should suit him. Hopefully he will score goals to help them and help himself." 31-1-11: West Brom striker Roman Bednar has joined Ankaragucu on loan until the end of the season with an option of a permanent move, after rejecting a £1.2m move to Bristol City. West Brom sporting director Dan Ashworth told skysports.com: "Bristol City made an offer for Roman that we accepted but he refused the move. "A Turkish club came in for him for a loan and offered a decent loan fee. We preferred to sell but sometimes you have to get the best deal for the club."
