Former Norwich midfielder Damon Lathrope has signed a two-year contract with Torquay following a successful trial. The 20-year-old penned the deal before turning out in the Gulls' 8-0 hammering of Tiverton Town on Monday night. Torquay boss Paul Buckle has been impressed by what he has seen from Lathrope and had no hesitation in offering the youngster terms. Buckle told the Herald Express: "Damon has done enough in his time here to deserve his contract. "He has an abundance of quality on the ball, with two good feet and he has a good pedigree after two years at Norwich."
