22-7-10: Dagenham & Redbridge have snapped up Femi Ilesanmi on a two-year deal following a successful pre-season trial. The versatile 19-year-old, who can play at centre-half or left-back, has joined the Daggers on a permanent contract after playing several games for the League One newcomers' reserve side last season. Ilesanmi spent time with Dagenham 12 months ago on non-contract terms but joined Middlesex outfit Ashford Town in February. He will now be hoping to push for a place in John Still's team ahead of their season opener against Sheffield Wednesday on 7th August.
