Donadoni open to Premier League job
Despite withdrawing his interest in the West Ham United Football Club position, Roberto Donadoni has revealed he would consider managing in the Premier League in the future.
The Hammers had considered the former Italy coach as a successor to Alan Curbishley, and the former AC Milan star impressed the Londoners at an interview.
However, Donadoni weighed up his options and withdrew his application, leaving former Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola in pole position, but a move to England has not entirely been ruled out.
"I decided to take my name out of the race because the feeling was that of not being the right fit for the type of programme they (West Ham) had in mind," Donadoni told calciomercato.com.
"I want to thank the London club. It gives me great honour to have been considered for the position. I don't exclude this possibility. The Premier League is a thrilling competition that has a lot of value."
