Roberts expects Blackburn Rovers survival
09:03 PM 21 April, 2009
Jason Roberts fully expects Blackburn Rovers to retain their Premier League status.

The Ewood Park club are just three points above the drop zone but Roberts, still recovering from a foot injury, has full confidence that Sam Allardyce’s men will steer them to safety.

"Under the new manager - Sam Allardyce - our record is good as, apart from Saturday, we have only lost against the top four," the striker told skysports.com.

"If we carried on like that over the course of a season then I don't think we will have too many issues over staying up. It is a very tough league but if we remain focused then we will be alright."
