Danny Higginbotham may not feature for Stoke City again this season.

The defender has picked up a back injury, and Britannia Stadium manager Tony Pulis admits the former Manchester United youngster may miss the final five games of the campaign.

"Danny has hurt one of the discs in his back and could need an operation,” he said.

“We might have seen the last of him this season."
