Six out of the eight UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists of this season are keen to sign Lazio’s Macedonian striker Goran Pandev, according to his agent.

It may be worth noting that Carlo Pallavicino is one of the most outspoken agents in Italian football, and he has in the past insisted that Pandev will sign a new contract with the Roman club.

However, he now states that the 25-year-old forward could be transferred to one of the biggest clubs in Europe, after claiming huge interest in him from a host of Champions League giants.

"Pandev is the object of desire for half of Europe," Pallavicino told Radio Kiss-Kiss. "I say only that, of the teams who participated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, six out of eight of them want to sign him."

Pandev currently earns €500,000-per-year at Lazio, but reports suggest he and his agent are demanding a salary worth three times as much to sign a new deal with the Serie A club.
