Kevin Keen is unsure when or if Steve Clarke will arrive at West Ham United Football Club.
The former Chelsea assistant manager handed in his resignation at Stamford Bridge on Friday, in order to move to Upton Park and become Gianfranco Zola’s right-hand man.
However, the Blues are refusing to accept Clarke’s resignation which is holding up the move, and current Hammers caretaker boss Keen admits he is in the dark over the situation.
"I don't know anything about the situation," he told Sky Sports. "I don't think that comes as a surprise. In terms of Steve Clarke obviously his record speaks for itself having worked for (Jose) Mourinho.
“He's won Premier League titles and FA Cups. I don't know a lot about him as a coach, but I know he's highly respected. I only know him as a player having played against him a couple of times.
"I've done a couple of coaching badges with him. I get on really well with him. As for his appointment I don't know anymore than that so we'll have to wait and see."
