Scott Carson has no plans to quit West Bromwich Albion Football Club in the summer.
Relegation to the Championship for the Baggies would all but end Carson’s chances of gatecrashing England’s squad for the 2010 World Cup Finals, but the goalkeeper insists he wants to stay at the Hawthorns.
“It is a brilliant club with a great set of lads and a good coaching staff,” Carson told The Mercury. “Moving up and down the country, especially with a young family, is not ideal so I am looking to get settled.
“You just can’t pack up and move like we have in the past. You have to take things more into consideration. It hasn’t gone perfectly, and I will be the first to say that. We just have to keep going now and see what happens.”
