Sam Allardyce wants Kevin Nolan at Blackburn Rovers Football Club next season.

The midfielder played the best football of his career under Big Sam when they were at Bolton Wanderers together, before the manager left, ironically, for Newcastle United.

St James Park is where Nolan is currently plying his trade following a shock £4million January transfer, but he has failed to make an impact at the relegation-threatened Magpies.

It is believed Allardyce is willing to give United their £4million back in exchange for the Liverpudlian, as he looks to add more quality to his Blackburn Rovers squad.
