Clarets Blake eyes victory
11:30 AM 01 May, 2009
32-year old, Robbie Blake, newly-named as Burnley's Player of the Year is confident the clarets can secure three points against Bristol City at home.

A win will secure Burnley's place in the play-offs after a marathon season.

Blake told the club's official website, "As long as we win the game and get the three points, I'd settle for anything. It will be a tough game and if we approach it that way we will be alright."

"It's a once in a lifetime game for us basically, so we have to treat it like that and come out on top which I truly believe we will. I think we do deserve to be in there.

"The lads realise how vital it is. It's a game we need to win and the games we have needed to win this season we have.

"I don't want to tempt fate, but we just have to stay focused and we'll be ready for it come 1.15pm on Sunday."
