Lee Wallace has extended his Tynecastle contract until 2012.

The versatile 22-year-old has come through the Jambos ranks to notch up over 100 appearances for the club.

He told Hearts News: "I am obviously very happy. It has been a good season for the team so far and I'm looking forward to helping bring more success to Tynecastle.

"This helps secure my future and gives me a bit of stability which is great.

"Now I just want to concentrate on playing well for the club and help us get into Europe."
