Sir Alex Ferguson believes he has found a replacement for Paul Scholes at Manchester United.

Whilst former England international Scholes still has much to offer the first team, he is nearing the end of his career when Ferguson expects young Brazilian Anderson to fill his shoes.

"Anderson is going to replace Paul Scholes," said the Old Trafford manager. "He is an outstanding talent. He has fantastic speed and strength and he is only 21."

The former Porto ace has been impressive since arriving in England last summer, but before he can be named in the same category as Scholes, he will have to find his shooting boots as he is still searching for his first goal.
