Steve McClaren set to replace Sbragia at Sunderland?
01:09 PM 04 May, 2009
Steve McClaren is reportedly in line to replace Ricky Sbragia at Sunderland Football Club.

Although Sbragia was only installed as manager earlier this season following Roy Keane’s departure, he has failed to impress after a bright start and currently faces a relegation scrap.

Dutch coach Louis van Gaal has been linked with replacing the Scot in the summer, whilst Sven Goran Eriksson has also been named as a potential candidate on a number of occasions.

However, The People claim another former England coach, McClaren, has emerged as the top choice at the Stadium of Light after an impressive season in Holland with FC Twente.
