Joe Hart could find regular first team football at Birmingham City next season.

The young goalkeeper has aspirations of becoming England’s number one goalkeeper at next season’s World Cup Finals, but he has lost his place to Shay Given at Manchester City.

Mark Hughes is reluctant to sell the former Shrewsbury Town player on a permanent basis, but he is willing to let him leave on a loan transfer for the 2009/10 campaign.

According to reports in The Mirror, newly-promoted Birmingham are ready to make an offer to take Hart to St Andrews next term in a loan deal which would cost them just £1million.
