Wilson Palacios missed the goalless draw at Everton due to the death of his brother.

The midfielder has been super for Tottenham Hotspur this season, but he was a notable exception from Saturday’s Premier League fixture due to the death of Edwin.

"We lost Wilson Palacios today. He got the message at 7am this morning about his brother and he had to rush home," said Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.

"It was a bad morning seeing the kid in the state he was in."
