Spurs tipped to beat Arsenal in £8.8m transfer tug-of-war for new Eduardo?
04:54 PM 11 May, 2009
Spurs are expected to beat Arsenal to the signing of Ajax stiker Darío Cvitanich, who is expected to move for £8.8m.

The diminutive Argentinian-Croat has a decent goalscoring record in the Eredivisie, so Spurs will hope he can reproduce that form in the Premier League.

Due to his height and his South American birth, Cvitanich has been likened to Arsenal's Eduardo (who was born in Brazil, but represents Croatia at international level).
