Arsenal linked with shock move for Peter Crouch
Arsenal Football Club have been linked with a shock move for Peter Crouch.
The beanpole England international striker has his critics, but it can’t be denied that his goalscoring record in the Premier League and for his country is impressive.
Crouch left Liverpool for Portsmouth in an £11million transfer last summer, and despite the struggles of the South Coast club, he has still mustered 11 top-flight goals.
Arsene Wenger is said to be willing to let Emmanuel Adebayor leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season, with AC Milan his likely destination.
Reports in the Sunday Mirror claim the Frenchman has drawn up a list of potential replacements which include Crouch, who would also boost the Londoners English contingent.
