Carlisle boss waits on striker deal
Michael Bridges is a summer target for the Cumbrians after playing his part in ensuring League One survival.
The former Leeds United and Sunderland man spent the season on loan at Brunton Park from Hull City where he is not in manager Phil Brown's plans.
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the News and Star: "I expect Michael to be in demand as five or six clubs are showing an interest already.
"He's still contracted to Hull and I plan to leave it a week to 10 days before I speak to him to see what his thoughts are. He will probably move on from Hull and his agent will find out what interest there is.
"We're keen to speak to Michael because he has made a nice contribution at the back end of the season. If we can fit him into our financial structure we would be interested but things are on hold at the moment."
