Steve Bruce believes Hugo Rodallega has a big future at Wigan Athletic Football Club.

The Colombian frontman was on the mark during the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Monday, and Bruce believes he is growing into a genuine Premier League force.

"The kid Rodallega has come of age,” he said.

“I have probably put him in a bit earlier than I should have done but you can see today that he's grown a bit, is getting used to the Premier League, and I thought he put in a terrific performance."
