Rotherham have signed Sheffield United keeper Jamie Annerson on a pre-contract agreement and Chester City winger Kevin Ellison on a two-year deal.
Annerson is due to hook up with Rotherham on July 1st. Annerson has enjoyed two loans spells with the Millers but is yet to make a first team appearance for the Club.
Relegated Chester released 30-year old Ellison at the end of the season and the midfielder said of the move on the club's official website,
"I have heard good things about the manager and I already know John Breckin (assistant manager) from my time at Tranmere.
"When I came down and met with the gaffer he showed me around and I was very impressed with the set-up>'
"When I spoke to the gaffer the first thing he said to me was he wants promotion and that is something you want to hear when you sign for the club."
