Fulham confident of landing £6million Scharner
Roy Hodgson expects Paul Scharner to arrive at Fulham Football Club this summer.
The Austrian international, who can play in defence or midfield, is widely expected to end his three-year stay at Wigan Athletic whom he joined from SK Brann in 2006.
Newcastle United have been linked with Scharner in the past, but reports at the weekend suggest Hodgson is confident of taking the 29-year-old to Craven Cottage for £6million.
The London club have enjoyed a superb Premier League campaign this term, and a point at home to Everton on Sunday is likely to give then European football next season.
