Ricardo Quaresma is being lined up at Zenit St Petersburg after failing to impress at Chelsea.

The Portugal international was signed on loan by Luiz Felipe Scolari, who added the player to his Blues squad when he took him from Inter Milan in January.

Quaresma has made just three Premier League appearances for the Stamford Bridge club, and he is set to return to Italy when his loan stint in England expires.

However, the 25-year-old could be on his way to Russia in time for the 2009/10 season, with reports suggesting soon-to-be-dethroned Uefa Cup holders Zenit want him on a permanent basis.
