Faye’s serious...he really doesn’t want to sign for Arsenal
Abdoulaye Faye insists he sees his future at Stoke City Football Club.
The Senegalese international has played in 34 of City’s 37 games in the Premier League this season, putting in a number of outstanding performances as they comfortably avoided relegation.
Indeed, the 31-year-old is said to be a shock £5million target for Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, but despite the lure of the UEFA Champions League, Faye wants to stay at the Britannia Stadium.
"Arsenal is one of the flagship teams of The Premier League,” he told 24sn. “They play very good football but they do not play physical and I am happy at Stoke City.
“I would stay for the rest of my career. I am very happy at Stoke, I adore the supporters and the coach is great. I want to stay here because I love Stoke City.”
