Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has denied talk of Gary Hooper and Mark Fotheringham arriving at the Ricoh.

Fotheringham has been released by relegated Norwich and is availabke on a free transfer while striker Hooper has impressed at Scunthorpe.

"There is no truth in Hooper and there is no truth in Fotheringham," Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph.

"There will be stories about some of our players leaving that won't be true and there will be stories about players we are going to sign and they won't be true, but there is nothing we can do about that.

"Out of respect to the players we are after and their clubs, I won't mention their names, but we are looking to bring in players."
