Dagenham & Redbridge have snapped up former Gillingham midfielder Stuart Thurgood on a two-year contract.

"Stuart is a player I've been interested in for three or four years and I'm absolutely delighted to have added him to my squad," Dagenham boss John Still told the club's official website.

"Stuart is hungry to prove himself back in the Football League and his drive and ambition is something that has impressed me."
