Dean Glover is the new boss at Port Vale




Glover has been in caretaker charge since the sacking of Lee Sinnott in September. The 44-year old takes over with Vale in 19th place in League Two, six places off the bottom.

He told BBC Radio Stoke, "I'm very honoured and proud to have the opportunity to manage the club where I had a great time as a player.

"I've been here a long time and I'm obviously concerned about the way things are at the moment. I'll be striving to turn things around."
