"It's all about us, and what we do,” he told the Independent on Sunday. “People might say we've only won one of our last 21 games, and that we don't deserve to stay up, but it's about 38 games.

“And what we achieved in the first part of the season means we've earned this chance to hear the final whistle and know we're safe, without having to ask what happened at Villa."
