Arsenal, Liverpool & Spurs chase £8.8m wing wonder?
12:05 PM 28 May, 2009
Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are all scouting Monaco winger Juan Pablo Pino, according to sources in France.

Pino was particularly impressive on Monaco's left flank in their recent game against Bordeaux and the 22-year-old Colombian will be allowed to leave if any of the interested clubs are ready to pay £8.8m.

That's the initial asking price, but despite the interest in the ex-Independiente Medellin wideman, he's expected to leave for considerably less than that amount.

Juan pablo pino is a superb talent, i watched him playing for monaco last year, incredibly exiting, and 8.8 million would be a very good deal for anyone interested

juan pablo is one of the best players from my country colombia, unfortunaly he had some problems here beacuse of his indiscipline but obviously thats past, hes probably going to play in arsenal the next season, u all should see hugo rodallega (wigan, england) and cristian zapata (udinese, italy) they are alos colombian promises.

Some of the negative comments are from people that obviously haven't followed this player. Pino is clearly the best winger in France and to many, he's heading to be one of the best players in the world. He is playing for Monaco, only because he wasn't born in brazil or argentina, or else we would've been in barcelona a long time ago. I encourge anyone to watch a game or some youtube videos, he's defentely an incredible player.

Juan Pablo Pino is brilliant player and i am not only saying that because he is colombian as i am..if any1 watched his performances in the under 18 championsships in colombia a few years ago u knew he was goin to be that sort of player..he terrorised argentian's defence in that tournament, along with radamel falco, hugo rodallega..camilo zuniga, harrison otalvaro and so on..hopefully he wont go to spurs, a bunch of under achievers that think they are as good as the top 4, i live in london and tottenham is the sort of team that think they are as good as it gets but frankly they are an average team that waste money sacking managers and buying pointless players, and the good ones they buy that are good opt to leave "Berbatov".

I think too, that if he arrives to LivPool or Arsnl it is really good, but if he arrives to Spurs, his live is at his end, because in Spurs, the great players of the futur get regular Players, like Gio Dos Santos.

I love people who look at a team's league position and then conclude everyone on that team is rubbish. Guess what? Quite a number of the Prem's respected players were playing for relegtated teams or Championship teams. Jagielka was bought from a relegated Sheffield Utd, Lescott was bought from Championship Wolves. Toby you clearly have not watched Ligue 1 or are a poor judge of ability. Pino works hard and to be honest Bordeaux was lucky to win against them - most of Monaco's good plays came through Pino running the Bordeaux defense ragged. If not for poor finishing and a bit of bad luck they could have gotten something from that game.

I wasn't saying that and maybe I was a bit too speculative. However, I am getting tired of Spurs trying to buy average players all the time and personally, I haven't heard of this guy, I don't follow the French league. Not interested. We need experience and quality anyway, not young players with a good future.

Monaco are 12th with 1 game to go. What's that got to do with anything? Are you saying Pino's no good 'cos he's from a mid-table French team?
