Palermo centre back Simon Kjær could be set for a summer switch to either Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Spurs.

Despite the reluctance of the Italian club to sell, they will be powerless to resist an €11.9m bid - as that amount will activate the 20-year-old's release clause.

Nevertheless, Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is in denial, insisting the Denmark U-21 international is staying put.

"Kjaer will not leave. Milan want him? [Adriano] Galliani does not have the money to buy Kjaer, or maybe he doesn't want to spend it," Zamparini told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
