Croft exit fuels Rams speculation
12:00 PM 28 May, 2009
Winger Lee Croft has left Norwich City and could make a move to Derby.

Croft's contract was due to expire in a month but the relegated Canaries have terminated the deal early to allow Croft more time to find a new club.

The 23-year-old but he has made it clear to Norwich that he'd not be staying with the League One side next season.

Canaries boss Bryan Gunn told the club's official website, "Lee's made it clear he feels his future lies elsewhere, so this gives him the chance to explore other opportunities.

"We wish him all the best for the future."

Croft made 131 appearances for City, scoring nine goals, and was named player of the year last season.
