Liverpool & Man City join race to sign €18m star?

Liverpool and Manchester City have reportedly joined Inter Milan in the race to sign Sampdoria superstar Antonio Cassano.

Sampdoria's sporting director Giuseppe Marotta reckons Inter have no chance of landing "Il Talentino".

"Cassano to Inter? Cassano is a player on everybody's lips these days, but to be honest, there is nothing concrete regarding what I have been reading," Marotta told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"There are no new plans. The relationship with Inter is good, but we have not received any contact from them regarding this situation.

"You never know what happens in football, but I hope both Cassano, and [Giampaolo] Pazzini remain here with us."

Cassano's deal expires in 2013 and it will cost €18m to get him.

I would rather go for Lisandro Lopez cauz I don't think that Cassano can play as the lone striker
