Cook outlines Manchester City ambition
05:23 PM 28 May, 2009
Garry Cook has revealed Manchester City Football Club are aiming to become the best in Europe.

Backed by the Abu Dhabi United Group, the Blues are the richest club in the world, and now their chief executive has revealed they aim to become the best side on the planet.

"People say our ambitions are too high but I don't see a problem with having the ambition to be the best in England and then Europe,” Cook told the Manchester Evening News.

"It is about building a culture of success here - not one of survival. I want to be competing with Manchester United one day and I have no reason to think we won't be."
