Juventus poised to swoop for £4million Liverpool defender
12:45 PM 29 May, 2009
Andrea Dossena has emerged as a target for Juventus.

The Italian giants are looking to bolster their back four ahead of the 2009/10 season, and have already swooped to take Fabio Cannavaro back from Real Madrid.

Now the Bianconeri are keen to acquire a new left-back, and reports in Corriere dello Sport claim they want to end Dossena’s twelve-month stay in England.

The 27-year-old has struggled since his move from Udinese for around £6million last summer, and despite showing progress in recent weeks, an offer of £4million could clinch a deal.

I think there is a website somewhere, where you click on a randomiser button and it names a player a team and a price, and them people post it as a rumour somewhere, and it takes hold. I seriously doubt Dossena is leaving, unless he hasn't settled and wants to go. But as stated, he has started to show that he is adapting, and I think he will have a good season, chipping in with a good amount of goals.
