Liverpool, Spurs, Hammers & Stoke battle for €10m star?

Real Betis winger-cum-striker Sergio García de la Fuente is up for grabs and the chasing pack last time he was available are interested again.

Liverpool, Spurs, West Ham and Stoke expressed their interest in the player, when his team at the time Real Zaragosa were relegated.

At the time, he made a €10m switch to Real Betis, who have now suffered the same fate (i.e. relegation) as Zaragosa.

The 25-year-old Spain international should be an asset to whichever club wins the race to sign him.

Liverpool appear to be in pole position.

@Sam - spurs, he only wears 'Sergio Garcia' on his shirts. @christopher alan cotter, he's really a right sided player above all else. And yes, he does seem to be the bringer of relegation, having made the drop with 3 different clubs now, but I rate him very highly, wayyy better than Stoke. Probably not Liverpool quality but he would fit the 4-2-3-1.
