Spurs & Villa in Rothen race?

Aston Villa and Spurs are both interested in PSG's want-away winger Jerome Rothen, according to reports.

Philippe Auclair of France Football told Setanta Sports TV: "I know PSG's a club very much in flux because they know that Paul Le Guen is going, that Antoine Kombouaré is taking his place.

"Loads of players are asking themselves questions: about will they stay, will they not?

"For example Jerone Rothen, a former France international, a left-sided midfielder, is a target for a couple of clubs in England.

"I am told, actually, that he will come to the Premier League, next season."

Why on earth would he want to go to Spurs?? Laughable. Why would anyone move to a small time club like Spurs - the smallest London club in the Premiership.
