The votes have been counted, the fans have had their say and now it’s time for the results. These awards celebrate all that is great about British footy. From the most courageous dress sense award to the special award for “Man-Love”, footy mad Nuts readers have voted in their thousands. The WKD awards cover the crucial topics that have shaped the season, making it one to remember both on and off the field.

We have picked out a selection of the most amusing of the awards starting with the season’s most hair raising player Everton's Marouane Fellaini who easily brushed off his rivals winning the ‘The Dodgiest Barnet’ award by a length.

England and Portsmouth’s Peter Crouch won ‘The Most WKD Goal Celebration’, his rope pulling goal celebration for England Vs Ukraine was something a bit special, Crouchie commented: “I’ve always liked to have a laugh and a joke and I’m just glad that everyone enjoyed it.”

For the second year running love was in the air for Red Devils Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo, not only did they lift the Premier League trophy again this season they also won ‘The Special Award for Man-Love’ with some monumental moments of male affection on the pitch – ahhh.

Always keen to score more than his strike partner, football's most famous Portugezza Ronaldo picked up a second prestigious award, winning ‘The Most “Courageous” Dress Sense Award’ for his unique brand of ‘fashion’, it was never in any doubt...

‘Terrace Chant of the Season’ was won by Hammers fans. Although they enjoyed a relatively good season the fans have now got something to really cheer about and for once it wasn’t bubbles. Their winning ditty was “Does your butler know you’re here?” to opposing Fulham fans at Upton Park.

Well the WKD Nuts Football Awards have once again been a real success with thousands of votes cast. Fans have finally had their say on what was a great season, only three more months, who’s counting, until it all kicks off again.
