Former Brighton head coach Micky Adams has been confirmed as Port Vale's new boss, succeeding Dean Glover.

Talking to Sky Sports News, Adams said: "I'm at Port Vale now and, as I've said before, it's a club that I need and I think they need me at this precise moment in time."
