Simon Ramsden is set to leave Spotland this summer.

Boss Keith Hill told the official Dale website: "I believe that Simon has taken up the option to sign for another club and that will be fully disclosed to the public at a later stage.

"He has been offered a deal at another club that goes way beyond our financial restrictions.

The 27-year-old right-back joined Dale in January 2006 from Grimsby and has since made over 100 league appearances for the club.
