Arsenal Football Club are yet to make their move for Tranquillo Barnetta.

The Swiss international has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with reports suggesting Arsene Wenger is lining up an offer of £7million.

However, the agent of midfielder Barnetta, Franco Moretti, insists there have been no offers from any Premier League club for the Bayer Leverkusen ace.

"Up until now nobody has asked about Tranquillo from England, there has been no interest from English clubs," Moretti told Sport.co.uk. “No coaches have been in touch.

“If the right offer doesn't come in he may stay one more year with Bayer Leverkusen because they are building a good team. But in England no club has enquired about him.”
