Fulham Football Club are about to enter the race for Oguchi Onyewu.

The American international has been heavily linked with a summer move to Premier League new-boys Birmingham City, after he became available following the end of his Standard Liege deal.

However, it is now being reported that Roy Hodgson will contact Onyewu in a bid to hijack the move, as he looks to add to his squad ahead of their Europa League campaign.
