Barnes still hopeful of Fulham transfer
Giles Barnes remains hopeful he can clinch a move to Fulham Football Club this summer.
The midfielder spent the second half of the season on loan at Craven Cottage, but due to injury, he failed to make a single appearance for the Premier League club.
Because of this Roy Hodgson refused to pay the £2million to take the player from Derby County on a permanent basis, but Barnes is hopeful this deal can be resurrected.
"I've been told that Fulham have gone back to Derby a couple of times since I returned - but it's all down to price," he told the London Informer.
"If it comes off, that would be great - but I'm a Derby County player and they've looked after me, and I'd be happy to stay here if it's not meant to be."
