Bristol City in for £300K U's winger
Mark Yeates of Colchester has emerged as a top summer target for the Robins.
The 24-year-old former Spurs wideman is also wanted by Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace as he enters the final year of his Colchester contract.
Yeates netted 13 goals last season for the League One club.
