Grimsby Town are hoping Peterborough's improved bid for Ryan Bennett will see more offers made for their teenage star.

The 19-year-old is the subject of serious interest from Posh but chairman John Fenty has said: "Although we have received a substantially improved offer from Peterborough, we are not in a position to respond until I return from the Football League meeting and have evaluated further interest being shown by other clubs."
