Davies admits Bolton Wanderers difficulties
12:03 PM 13 June, 2009
Kevin Davies admits Bolton Wanderers Football Club found life difficult during the course of the 2008/09 season, but he believes it can be a different story next term.

The Whites were never really involved in a relegation fight, and Davies believes they can push for a top-ten finish if Gary Megson can bring in reinforcements this summer.

"I think we all know we need two, maybe three, more players for a bit more competition and quality," he told the Bolton News. "It was difficult last season with such a small squad.

"Maybe we need that little bit extra, especially on the bench, to turn things around a little bit. We didn't get into the top 10 and that is disappointing but a couple more players could help us."
