Zokora’s honest verdict on Tottenham Hotspur
10:00 AM 08 October, 2008
Didier Zokora admits it will be very difficult for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club to finish in the top six.

The Londoners have made their worst start to a season since 1912, making a mockery of their pre-season hopes of clinching a place in the UEFA Champions League.

Indeed, the very minimum expected from Juande Ramos side was a Uefa Cup place, but as they sit at the bottom of the league after seven games, Zokora admits this is unlikely.

"When Ramos came in, we won the Carling Cup and the team beat Arsenal 5-1, but at the moment it is difficult for him as we have only got two points,” Zokora is quoted in The Mirror.

"I want to play well for Tottenham and the chairman will make a decision on the team. That is not my job. At the start, people were saying we could make the top five or six but now that is very difficult."
