Gareth Taylor has linked up with his former Sheffield United teammate Dean Saunders at Wrexham after leaving Rovers.

"Gareth's a good signing," said Saunders, now manager at the Racecourse Ground.

"We've got an experienced striker and it's not a problem that he's 36 because you're only as old as you feel.

"He played 16 games in the Championship last season, he scores goals, he's strong in the air and he will help bring on the likes of Marc Williams and Obi."
